Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Inspector is responsible for the first and final visual manual inspection of all machined parts.
- Perform inspections for all first produced items for each new configuration and sanction compliance according to customer requirements and drawings (dimensions, material and machining quality level).
- Support CNC & conventional machinists for all production inspections.
- Communicate all non-conformities to the Plant Manager.
- Perform final inspections of all parts produced according to customer requirements and drawings (dimensions, material and machining quality level).
Qualification requirements
- Quality control training or 2 to 3 years’ experience as a conventional or CNC machinist
- Ability to analyze mechanical drawings, ISO9001, AS9100 and customer specifications.
- Proficiency in the use of computer tools, including the MS Office suite.
- Ability to communicate in French and English, both written and spoken.
