CADEX, a privately-held company in business since 1994, is the world leader in the research, development, and manufacturing of “Turn-Key” impact systems and testing laboratories. Our Testing Division’s R&D in combination with our Metrology & QA Departments consistently provides our Engineering, Electronic, and Production Departments with unmatched levels of support and technology when it comes to the understanding of complex designs, material harmonics, and impacts on the human body.

Launched in 2000, this unique capability and expertise is the foundation of our Defence Division to support Canadian, US & International Military-specific requirements with our specialized manufacturing services. The ability to provide “Turn-Key” product-based solutions from design, prototyping, testing and high-end machining in a vertically integrated production environment has proven to be a successful formula with over 80 premium Military, Law Enforcement, and Civilian products in our Catalog.

Our recoil management systems and precision mounts for electro-optic systems, diverse weapon components and accessories, and premium long-range precision rifles and chassis are wholly manufactured in-house with the highest levels of craftsmanship.

Our unparalleled attention to detailed precision enables ALL our customers to achieve Extreme Range SupremacyTM with unmatched ease and comfort.
The CADEX team consists of experienced management, skilled and meticulous engineers, technicians, CNC machinists, armorers, and support staff who strive to achieve a level of excellence equal and superior to that of any custom shop. With close to 100 employees and a state-of-the-art facility spanning 60,000+ sqft, CADEX remains committed to excellence and supporting customers worldwide with first-class products and exceptional customer service.

Electronics Department

Metrology

All Cadex testing equipment is:
♦ Supplied with calibration certificates;
♦ Calibrated following strict calibration protocols;
♦ Calibrated by qualified engineers and technicians instruments;
♦ Traceable to primary measuring instruments throughout the calibration chain.

Security

Cadex has a unique customer base (from conventional military to special operation units), which expects a high level of confidentiality and security. Cadex does not subcontract work that may impact the level of security and quality assurance. In 2009, Cadex has implanted a new security process at its new facility:
♦ Approved vault for sensitive items and firearms;
♦ Control access door with card reader;
♦ Multi-camera system recorder inside and outside the facility.

Certification

♦ Restricted and prohibited firearms licence to manufacture and store;
♦ Control goods merchandise (# 22290);
♦ Export/import control bureau (EXCOL);
♦ Canadian security clearance;
♦ In-house tracking/quality control;
♦ Firearms vault; Certifications in process: ISO17025 and C-TPAT.
