CDX-40 SHDW Extreme Long-Range Precision Rifle

Les CDX-40 SHDW is a high-performance precision rifle designed for extreme long-range shooting and anti-materiel applications. Chambered in either .375 EnABELR or .375/408 CheyTac, this advanced rifle delivers exceptional accuracy and reliable performance at distances of up to two miles under proper shooting conditions and with appropriate training.

Recognized by the ELR shooting community as one of the leading extreme-range platforms available, the CDX-40 SHDW combines a heavy-duty Cadex action, a Bartlein® match-grade barrel and the highly adjustable Dual Strike chassis system.

The standard repeater configuration uses a Cadex DSSF 7-round magazine designed to accommodate exceptionally long cartridges. A dedicated single-shot version is also available for ELR competition.

Heavy-Duty CDX-40 SHDW Action

At the heart of the CDX-40 SHDW is a custom-grade 1.600-inch bolt action manufactured from durable 416 stainless steel. This heavy-duty repeater action is designed to withstand the demanding pressures and conditions associated with extreme long-range cartridges.

The DLC-coated, three-lug fluted bolt features a short 60-degree bolt throw for smooth and efficient cycling. In addition, the rifle includes an ambidextrous safety lever and interchangeable round and tactical bolt knobs.

A quarter-turn, tool-free bolt disassembly system also provides quick and easy access to the firing pin for cleaning and maintenance.

Bartlein® Match-Grade Barrel

Les CDX-40 SHDW is equipped with a Bartlein® 1.350-inch straight-taper, fluted match-grade barrel. Its single-point cut rifling technology provides the consistency and precision required for demanding ELR shooting.

Several barrel configurations are available:

• 29-inch barrel for military applications
• 32-inch barrel for optimized long-range performance
• 36-inch non-fluted barrel for ELR competition

The threaded muzzle allows for muzzle brake installation, and an MX1 muzzle brake is included with the rifle. An optional suppressor band is also available for compatibility with a Cadex slip-on suppressor.

Furthermore, Cadex’s unique rebarreling system allows qualified users to replace the barrel more easily than with traditional rifle systems.

Dual Strike Chassis System

Les CDX-40 SHDW is built on the Cadex Dual Strike chassis system. It is available with a folding stock, a skeleton folding stock or a skeleton fixed-stock configuration.

The chassis includes an interchangeable full-length top rail available in 20, 40 or 60 MOA. Therefore, shooters can select the rail elevation that best suits their optic setup and intended shooting distance.

The mirage-mitigation fore-end tube helps reduce visual distortion caused by barrel heat. Meanwhile, the laterally adjustable cheek piece helps the shooter achieve proper alignment behind the optic.

DX2 EVO Trigger and Magazine System

The rifle features the Cadex DX2 EVO trigger, which can be configured as either a single-stage or two-stage trigger. The position-adjustable trigger shoe allows shooters to customize trigger reach and improve comfort.

The repeater version of the CDX-40 SHDW uses a Cadex DSSF 7-round magazine. This magazine is designed to support extremely long cartridge overall lengths while maintaining dependable feeding.

Although the available .375-caliber cartridges deliver outstanding ballistic performance, they also produce significantly less recoil than many .50 BMG rifle systems.

Durable Cerakote Finish

Every CDX-40 SHDW is protected by a durable, non-reflective Cerakote finish. Multiple color options are available, allowing the rifle to be configured for different operational environments or personal preferences.
